After the release of the M4 MacBook Pro lineup late last year, it was only logical that Apple would also implement their newest silicon into the MacBook Air family. This leads us to the new M4 MacBook Air! Just like in the past, we managed to get a hold of one and tested out our product line with it, and the results are fantastic! In this blog we’ll talk about the new features and how to get the most out of your MacBook Air with our broad lineup of Mac-compatible devices. Similar to the recently launched M4 MacBook Pro’s, Apple has finally added support for up to two extended displays over Thunderbolt 4, which makes this the first MacBook Air on Apple Silicon to support dual displays natively without needing to close the laptop lid. This means that you can take full advantage of our dual display Thunderbolt docks without needing to fork out extra for the MacBook Pro. Need even more displays? You can still utilize our USB graphics adapters and DisplayLink based docks to add even more displays to your setup, turning your MacBook Air into a multi-monitor powerhouse!

While the support for dual monitors is welcome, macOS still lacks support for DisplayPort MST, which is required for some of our docks and adapters for full functionality.
