Plugable Debuts Triple-Display Dock With True Dual 4K 60Hz Over USB-C ~ Plugable Technologies

SEATTLE — August 4, 2026 — Plugable Technologies, a longtime leader in USB-C and Thunderbolt connectivity solutions for professionals and businesses, today announced the UD-MSTH3, the company’s first triple-display USB-C docking station for Windows and ChromeOS built around driver-free Multi-Stream Transport (MST) technology for triple-display PC setups.

Built for hybrid workers, IT teams, and everyday productivity users, the UD-MSTH3 supports up to three displays, fast charging, and pro-grade connectivity. Windows and ChromeOS users can connect with a single cord for a plug-and-play experience designed around how they actually work.

Flexible Display Configurations
The UD-MSTH3's focal point is dual 4K 60Hz display output for sharp, high-fidelity visuals. For users who need more screen real estate, the dock also supports triple-display mode, running one display at 4K 60Hz alongside two additional displays at 1080p 60Hz. The dock’s three native HDMI ports make it easier to build a multi-monitor workspace using the HDMI displays already found in most homes and offices.
Because MST is native to Windows and ChromeOS but not available on macOS, the UD-MSTH3 is designed and optimized specifically for those platforms. Mac users can still connect the dock, but will see one extended display, with any additional monitors mirrored rather than extended. For full multi-monitor support, Plugable recommends its Thunderbolt and DisplayLink-based docks for Mac setups.
Compatible with full-featured USB-C, USB4, and Thunderbolt 4/5 ports, full high-resolution performance also requires a laptop running an Intel 12th Gen or AMD 6000-series processor or newer. On select DSC-capable hosts, triple-display output may reach 2x 4K 60Hz + 1x 4K 30Hz. Actual support varies by host, graphics, DSC ratio, and display setup.

Beyond its display flexibility, the UD-MSTH3 delivers up to 100W of Power Delivery to keep laptops charged during heavy use, along with a dedicated 30W USB-C charge-only port for charging devices like phones and tablets. A 2.5Gbps Ethernet port provides fast, stable wired networking, ideal for video calls, large file transfers, and hybrid office environments.
